What You'll Do

As a part-time Key Holder, you will support our Boutique Manager to create an engaging customer experience, ensure the smooth efficient running of the store, and drive sales results. You will also have responsibility for operational processes including opening and closing the boutique, entering and receiving purchase orders, processing web orders, gift registry program administration, merchandising support and other responsiblities as needed.

This position is a great way to gain leadership and entrepreneurial experience and grow your retail, communication and customer service skills. Your day-to-day areas of focus will include:

  • Customer Engagement and Sales- Greet customers, identify customer needs, offer product suggestions, gift registry and personal shopping services.
  • Product Education - Develop detailed knowledge of all product and service offerings; educate customers on ZukaBaby's unique offerings. Full training is provided.
  • Merchandising and Store Support - Assist with tagging, displaying and restocking products, while maintaining a clean, organized store appearance.
  • Web Order Fulfillment - Fulfill web orders for in-store pickup, delivery and shipping.
  • Store Operations - independently open and close the store, enforce company policies, fill in for Boutique Manager as needed.
  • Inventory Management - enter new products and purchase orders in POS system, receive, tag and organize purchase orders.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Preferred sales and operations experience in a specialty retail store
  • Excellent sales, customer service, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to plan and execute tasks efficiently and independently, and balance multiple priorities
  • Flexible and adaptable problem-solver
  • Positive, friendly, service-oriented, curious and self-motivated personality, with an interest in children/children’s products.
  • Flexibility in work schedule; available on Saturdays and several weekdays as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, prolonged standing.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
