Choose from the one-step Hook/Loop closure style—the most like a disposable diaper to remove or put on—and the Snap closure, which can be simpler to launder and, later, more toddler-proof.

Grovia H/L covers are just as lovely as their snap closures. Same affordable price, durable make, easy use design. I particularly liked them for my daughter when she was just out of the newborn stage and into the infant stage; the H/L closure made it really easy to get a nice snug fit and weren't intimidating for us as we embarked on our cloth diapering journey. We have a mix of snap and H/L closures in our stash, and while I reach for snaps more often (since they're harder for my toddler to remove) I look forward to using my favorite H/L diapers with our next one.
A word about caring for the H/L closure: Using the laundry tabs to fold the H/L under before washing will help keep the H/L clean (and therefore maintain its stickiness) and prevent the tabs from curling. If they do get dirty, you can remove threads/ hair/ whatnot with your fingers/ a needle/ the comb edge of a Snappi. Pilling on the landing strip can be carefully removed with a sweater/ wool shaver. (I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to do this, though. These closures have held up very nicely and I anticipate them getting much more use.)
