Linen is a timeless classic, beloved for millennia for its beauty, strength and versatility. Five times stronger than cotton and naturally antibacterial, linen is woven from spun flax—one of the most sustainable natural fibers in the world. Thermo-regulating with a built-in wicking property, these linen slings breathe wonderfully, keeping you warm and cozy in the winter and cool and dry in the summer. The simple gorgeousness of linen is suited to every occasion, from family beach adventures to special events and everything in between.

I have had the Sakura Bloom sling for about 5 months and started using when baby was 10 months. Baby seems to like it, although sometimes she wants to get out (I probably should have gotten it sooner so she wouldn't have resisted when we first started using it!) I've taken her shopping and to sporting events in it; she sometimes falls asleep in the sling, so it most be comfy for her. Once you get used to it, it's pretty easy to take on and off and pretty comfortable. I have the Curacao (beautiful blue/white combination) color and get lots of compliments on the sling when out in public. I have machine washed it several times (and hang dry), so I like that it is easy to clean. It's also compact enough to stuff in a diaper bag. I took off one star because the metal rings cause metal detectors in the airport to go off, so I have to take the sling off, hold the baby through the detector, and then put her back in (which is not an issue I had with a big, cloth stretchy wrap I used when she was younger or with a structured carrier with plastic snaps that I borrowed once from a friend); however, since it's pretty easy to get her back in, and it's great in every other respect, so I would recommend it, anyway - just keep that in mind if you fly a lot. . . A comment on chambray vs. classic linen - I rented the classic linen for a week but ultimately bought the chambray because I felt the thicker quality felt more secure in holding her. The chambray takes a little longer to hang dry because it's two layers of cloth (overnight usually does the trick). I have never felt hot with the chambray linen while using it indoors. I have felt hot sometimes when using it outside, but we are in New Orleans, so that is to be expected.
