ZukaBaby is a Natural Parenting Boutique located in the Green Light District in New Orleans, Louisiana. We specialize in cloth diapers, baby wearing, breastfeeding, natural toys and organic layette.
We are inspired to be not only a retail store, but also a building point for a community that wants more; more local, natural, unique, affordable options for our families. We educate the community about our choices as modern parents in economically and environmentally difficult times.
We offer ongoing Natural Parenting classes, a resource board, a diaper exchange and drop off location for the Cloth Diaper Foundation, products that are made with respect to workers and the environment and so much more.
We are proud to now offer Cloth Diaper Parties in South East Louisiana through our knowledgeable Diaper Consultants. If you don’t live close to our retail location now you can contact your local Diaper Consultant and learn about cloth diapers in person. ZukaBaby is a certified green business through LifeCity. A few of the things we do to make a difference include purchasing carbon offsets for incoming and outgoing shipping, working with green suppliers, recycling and purchasing recycled paper products in our store and using high efficiency appliances.
ZukaBaby is also a founding member of the Green Light District, a merchant association of eco-friendly businesses located in the historic lower garden district on Magazine St. We promote an eco-concious lifestyle and foster the development of green businesses.
